Horka nad Moravou, Litovel, Moravičany, Střeň
Between the ancient towns of Olomouc and Mohelnice, right in the heart of Haná, extends the CHKO Litovelské Pomoraví – the Litovel Morava Riverlands Protected Nature Area. It is made up of an area of extensive alluvial meadows, unique in all of Europe. At the core of the entire complex is a natural phenomenon – a landlocked river delta. In addition to the lands of the Protected Nature Area it encompasses the hilly Doubrava leafy woods and the krast peak Třesín with the accessible and richly ornamental Mladeč Caves.

Úsov
Úsov is one of the oldest preserved North Moravian castle and is built in the French style. It suffered significant damage during the Swedish occupation in the year 1643 only to be restored at the end of the 17th century during the time of Lord Jan Adam of Liechtenstein. He had a three-storey palace built with a monumental staircase designed by the Italian architect Domenic Martinelli with part of the castle thus taking on a chateau character. The chateau hunting-forestry museum was founded in the year 1898 and is a unique collection throughout all of Central Europe.
Mohelnice
The house was part of the town fortification system, proof of which is the semi-cylindrical bastion from the end of the 15th century and the actual placement of the building. Šumperk Dean Kryštof Alois Lautner was transferred here from Mírov Prison in 1683. The new prison (the “witch” house) was built specifically for him.
Mohelnice
Featuring a combination of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neo-Gothic elements, the church is the most significant historical landmark in Mohelnice. The church was built on the site of the former parish Church of the Virgin Mary, mentioned in records in 1247. This church was expanded in the 14th century and then burned down by the Hussites in 1424. The addition of the Chapel of St. Anne and the Chapel of the Holy Cross were made in the Baroque style. The church was heavily damaged during a fire in the town in 1841, leading to Neo-Gothic reconstruction in 1886.
Mohelnice
Remnants of the town fortifications from the mid-16th century are made up of parts of the town walls with semi-cylindrical bastions. The lone preserved bastion stands behind the healthcare facility at No. 10. Entrance gates were also part of the Mohelnice fortifications. Only remnants of the side walls with the Mohelnice coat of arms have survived from the “Moravičan” and “Třebov” gates.
Mohelnice
The museum is locaed in the building of the former rectory, originally a Bishop’s castle dating back to the middle of the 13th century. Rare Renaissance frescos from the 16th century are housed in its spaces. One may take a look at them when viewing the additional exposition “From the History of Mohelnice” or one of the other occasional exhibitions.
Loštice
A unique museum devoted to the past and present of production of the famous delicacy
On the spot of the original A.W. company plant, a museum was built in 1994, and a new shop has been open next to the production plant at Palackého street. Tools used in the production of mature curd cheese are installed in the museum. Curd milling and pressing is documented in the cellar, while production is shown on the other floors. You can see a video recording of current production, as well as production around 1920.
Loštice
The renowned Czech book illustrator Adolf Kašpar used to live in this house every year during the summer with his family and it now houses in the attic a small museum with the painter’s studio with his work table and church and a collection of well-known illustrations to the works of various Czech literary classics. The ground floor of the museum contains an exposition dedicated to the history of Loštice along with occasional extra exhibitions.

Úsov
The first Jewish cemetery in Úsov existed as early as the mid-15th century. The tombstone of Rabi Don Zapataire de Avalos - Kalonymos Ha-Kohen from 1480 survived from this cemetery and was transferred to the new cemetery. The oldest of the nearly one thousand tombstones date to the year of the founding of the cemetery and from the second half of the 17th century. These include outstanding examples of Baroque and Classicist works.
