The importance and scope of some of the events held in Central Moravia have gained a popularity reaching beyond the boundaries of the region.

Zahrada – Garden

Folk, world music, rock, country, bluegrass, jazz, tramp, blues, spirituals, ethno, folklore, dance, theatre, exhibitions, sessions, ...
Having moved there from Strážnice ten years  ago, the biggest folk music festival in the Czech Republic now takes place in Náměšť na Hané every year at the beginning of July. Five stages right in Náměšť and another four in attractive places around draw attention of thousands of visitors and the performance is a matter of prestige to each interpreter.

Divadelní flora – Theatre Flora

Moravské theatre in Olomouc holds a theatre festival every year in early May. Each of the twelve festivals has been an illustration of both home and foreign theatre production. Thanks to the thoroughgoing dramaturgy, viewers can be sure to see creative pieces of art with excellent supporting musical performances and films. Within the 2007 Festival, 44 theatre, music and film performances took place in Moravské Theatre, Music Theatre, Konvikt and Tereziánská Armoury in Olomouc.

Dvořákova Olomouc – Dvořák Olomouc

The Festival follows the tradition that was established in 1958 when Moravská Philharmony Olomouc first organized Olomouc Music Spring. In 2002, the festival was transformed and renamed. Held routinely in May and June, the series of concerts focuses on Antonin Dvořák´s works and those of contemporary composers interpreted by outstanding Czech and foreign music ensembles and soloists.
