SkiingThe manifold, attractive skiing area of Jeseniky consists of the Hruby Jesenik and Nizky Jesenik Mountains, Rychlebske Mts and Kralicky Sneznik. Situated here are some of the best-known ski resorts in the Czech Republic liked by both excellent and average skiers. The whole area is laced with cross-country ski tracks. Snow tends to last till late spring and you can get accommodation in dozens of chalets and lodges. | Where to go in for sportsSports activities in winter are not limited to ski disciplines. Spas and wellnessEverybody longs for a rest from everyday hustle and bustle to regain their strengths. Many tend to forget about the picturesque submontane towns and townlets, villages and romantic castles, splendid chateaux or unique technical monuments thus depriving themselves of unusual experiences. These do have something to offer – for instance a paper mill that has been manufacturing handmade paper for 400 years. You could hardly find a similar one. |
